All orders are subject to the following terms and conditions.
If you order by phone, you must pay by credit or debit card at the time of ordering. If you order by post, you must send payment with your order, in the form of a cheque (drawn on a UK bank), or postal order, made payable to "Caramella". We can only accept payment in Pounds Sterling.
Before processing your order we may need to contact you if there is a problem with your payment, or in the unlikely event that something you have ordered is out of stock. This may lead to a change to the order (which we will agree with you) or if necessary the cancellation of your order (in which case we will return your payment).
We only accept your order when your payment has cleared.
If your payment fails to clear, we will normally contact you to resolve the problem. However in this situation
we do reserve the right to reject your order and/or pass on to you any additional costs that we incur.
All our prices and delivery charges include VAT.
If we increase our prices, we will accept orders by post under the previous prices if we receive them within 2 weeks of the price increase appearing on our website. However, this will not apply if the increase is due to a sudden change in VAT or other tax, or in Royal Mail postal charges. It will also not apply to orders by phone.
We reserve the right to reject orders in the event that we have mistakenly listed a product with the wrong price.
For sweets that are priced per 100g, the minimum order is 100g of each sweet. If priced per pack (bag, box etc.),
the minimum is one pack. For all other sweets, the minimum is 50 pence worth.
Where sweets have individual wrappers (e.g. twist-wrappers), the weight includes these wrappers.
Due to the manufacturing process, all our sweets may contain traces of nuts.
Sweets may contain permitted additives and colours.
At any time before we dispatch your order, you can phone us to change or cancel your order. If you cancel we
will refund your payment in full.
We will dispatch your order once we have confirmation that your payment has cleared. Normally we will do this within one working day of receiving such confirmation, but in exceptional circumstances there may be a delay of a few working days.
For orders by phone, please allow 10 days for delivery. For orders by post, please allow 14 days from when you post
your order. If you have not received your order after this time, please contact us. If your order has been
lost in transit, we will re-send it.
If you receive the wrong goods, or they do not arrive in good condition, please tell us within five working
days. We will arrange for you to return the goods at our expense, and will re-send your order or issue a refund.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you as a consumer have the right to cancel your order provided that you do so no later than 7 working days after receiving the goods. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing - please be sure to include your name, address and telephone number. If you cancel in this way you will receive a full refund. If we have dispatched your order before we receive your notice of cancellation, we require you to return the goods to us at your own cost. You must also take reasonable care of the goods while you have them, and not open the inner wrapping.
If you decide to cancel before receiving the goods, we would be grateful if you would also notify us as soon as possible by telephone, so that we know not to dispatch your order. This also helps you because, if we don't dispatch the goods, you won't have to pay the cost of returning them.
